A hot combination: WALLTITE and eco Insulate.

ecoadmin, January 29, 2014

W_CLAIM_green_rgbEco Insulate Ltd are proud to announce their appointment as a BASF Foam Master approved contractor. This important move follows extensive discussions between the two companies to develop business in Scotland and the rest of the UK. The trading relationship combines the World’s leading chemical company with one of Scotland’s longest established and most experienced spray foam contractors. We will now be providing our Industrial, Commercial and Domestic customers with a complete range of BASF WALLTITE Open and Closed cell foam products.

Talking of the move, Bryan Woods our MD said ‘Our decision to change suppliers was not taken lightly but reflects our policy of offering clients a complete range of high performance environmentally friendly products. When originally looking at the BASF WALLTITE range we found that they had excellent accreditation and products were manufactured either here in the UK or Europe. This helps to reduce our carbon footprint as recently our products had been supplied from Canada and China.’
Colin Davidson, our Surveying and Estimating manager added ‘The training and technical support provided by BASF WALLTITE is first class and we are able to offer Specifiers a 24 hour turn round for complex calculations which may be needed. The comprehensive product range also allows us to offer improved thermal performance for many different applications including Hard to Treat cavity wall construction and Industrial buildings. It’s also re-assuring to know we are dealing with a major supplier who provides prompt on time delivery from within the UK. We also like to think our expertise has been recognised in the award of Foam Master approved Contractor which follows training undertaken in association with requirements of BBA accreditation.’
We are pleased to advise our Clients that the BASF open cell sprayed and injected products now have the added benefit of improved thermal conductivity but with the same water blown process, zero ODP and low GWP offered previously. For  more information, check out http://www.walltite.basf.co.uk/

Swept to victory.

ThTeam Gray sweeping their way to victory!e recent Mercure City of Perth Masters curling tournament held at The Dewars Centre, Perth was won by Team Gray  for whom eco Insulate Ltd are one of the sponsors. This was a major triumph for the team who beat Russia, Switzerland and Norway – three of the Olympic teams on the way to the Quarter final and now sets them up well for the forthcoming  National Championships in February. As the British Olympic team will not be playing at this event  Team Gray  finds themselves quite rightly seeded Number 1.

It was the first win for the newly assembled team on the Curling Champions Tour who have been playing well all season. Their victory against a rink led by Swede Oscar Eriksson was hard fought and had a dramatic ending with the final stone.

eco Insulate Ltd are proud to support the team who are based in Stirling  but includes  Richard Woods originally from Lochmaben and who developed his skills at the nearby Lockerbie Ice Rink. Apart from their stunning display on the ice the team cut a dazzling image in their brightly coloured kit produced by leading sportswear designers Loudmouth.
