eco Insulate Ltd offers the full range of Icynene insulation products which comprise a soft, flexible, lightweight material,

  • Ideal for more complex designs such as domed ceilings, arches and other unusual shapes.

Achievable ‘u’ values range from 0.30 W/m2K to 0.11 W/m2K depending on the construction detail used. More importantly Icynene significantly contributes to achieving an airtight thermal envelope which is necessary for increased energy efficiency.This allows you to create an energy efficient, more comfortable environment and reduce air borne sound transmission.

Sustainable design

Unlike conventional insulation materials Icynene offers high performance solutions for efficient building envelopes, thermal comfort and a healthy indoor environment all of which are key components of green building.

  • 100% water blown - does not contain synthetic blowing agents such as HFC’s.

  • B-s1,d0 fire rating when tested to BS EN 13823:2002 without the use of PBDE’s which are considered to be harmful flame retardents.

  • Doesn’t shrink, sag or slump, has no food value for insects or rodents and doesn’t support mould growth.

  • Performance does not decline over time.


The Icynene insulation system applied by eco Insulate Ltd is accredited to BBA (Agrement Certificate number 08/4598), is recognised by the NHBC and satisfies the requirements of the Zurich Building Guarantee Technical Manual. It has achieved REACH certification, the EEC regulation covering chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). This guarantees the safe use of the product in a residential situation. Icynene inc. has been a pioneer of the Green building movement for over 20 years and is a member of the UK Green Building Council.

eco Insulate Ltd is a licensed contractor and the spray application is carried out on site after the first fix of services, cables and pipe runs thus ensuring a complete air seal. Our spray teams meet stringent application criteria and have completed an intensive training programme which includes product and equipment knowledge, installation and building science.
