eco Insulate Ltd is an Approved Installer of the Icynene insulation system, a lightweight water blown material which offers a healthier, quieter and more energy efficient environment.
- Healthier: Icynene is 100% water blown, does not contain any ozone depleting substances and contributes to providing healthy indoor air quality.
- Quieter: Icynene reduces noise levels arising from airborne sound transmisson.
- More energy efficient: Icynene is a combined insulation and air barrier material.
Icynene is suitable for use in all methods of construction and can be applied to horizontal, vertical and sloping structures. It is spray applied when used in new build situations and the 'pour fill' formula with its lower rate of expansion enables the material to be injected behind plasterboard and lath and plaster finishes. This allows energy conservation measures to be taken on older more traditional built properties.
